C++ was my first programming language uh over 30 years ago. Um and then I didn't use it for a long time, but I did work at Google, which already I was mentioned on stage is heavily C++ based. I one of the my my roles was I was the tech lead for search rendering and the search front-end server is written it's technically nowadays a Java application but it has mostly C++ in it and the search application server is also C++ and the search back end is also C++ so

uh interesting technology choice like I think we have all these news at Google doing like C++ coding and there really shouldn't and so it constantly crashes but um it's very fast and If you if you measure your your throughput in gigawatt hours, then you really need a programming language that that is efficient.
