All right, I think we'll we'll get right into it. So, um, hey everyone. Uh, if you haven't seen me before or we haven't met, my name is Nico. I work on the AISDK here at Verscell. Um, really excited to be talking to you guys a bit more about what we announced at Ship. Also, importantly, this won't be all old material. Uh we have I think it's three new major features that we shipped in the last few weeks, one even yesterday
um that I'll be going through a bit more today. And then uh we'll have we're lucky to be joined by Will here who is going to walk us through an agent that he's built on top of AISDK 6 talk about how uh which of the features he's using and how they're being used. We can go into any questions as well there. I'll go back into a couple other smaller features and then finally we'll leave some time for Q&A uh for anyone interested. But before I go into slides,
Will, do you want to introduce yourself? Sure. Sure. Can do. My name is Will. I'm a field engineer at Verscell. So we're really um kind of working with customers and helping enable them to use the AI cloud, whether that be with the Verscell platform, the AI SDK, Nex.js JS kind of anything technical. Um, and I get to see it real world, right? See real examples of what Nico's talking about in slides and, you know, in keynotes. And so I'm kind of excited to jump into a demo later today. Very cool. Um, so before we go into
things, I always love to get a little bit of a gauge of the room. Um, obviously most it seems like most of the folks here were at ship or tuned into ship, but it would be awesome to understand if you could comment. Uh, have you shipped something with the AISDK? Comment the number one. Are you familiar with it? Maybe comment number one as well, just so we get an idea of how many how many folks in the room are
are familiar with things. And I I want to see the ones fly down. Uh, cool. All right, we got a two in there as well. Great. Okay, cool. So, um, like I said, my name is Nico and, uh, I do have an agenda slide here. Also, something cool, I actually built these slides with Vzero. This was the first time doing that. I've heard a lot of folks in the room, 0.5, I like that. A lot of folks in the room or sorry, a lot of folks at Forcell who use Vzero for a whole host of things. Um, but I've heard great things about using
it for slides and was not disappointed. Um, so this the slides today here have been generated from our blog post that we'll be sharing afterwards that talks through goes into depth with all the features. So if you do want to learn more afterwards, we'll be sending that through. Um, but so yeah, agenda I kind of mentioned it. We're going to start with an overview of AI SDK 6 beta. I'm going to focus on two main features to start with. So the agent abstraction and tool execution approval. Within that
agent abstraction, there are actually two new features that we just shipped that we'll go into a bit more depth that I'm very excited about. I'll then hand over the floor to Will to dive into a real demo. Um, and then we'll come back to me and and we'll talk through the last uh two features and open the floor to Q&A. Um, and also if at any point you do have questions, please do leave them in I think there might be a Q&A feature or chat. Um, and Will and Sharon here
will be kind of fielding questions that we can then answer at the very end. So, what's new in AISDK 6 beta? Um, sounds like a lot of you were were there, so I'm not going to go through everything here. Uh, but we'll start with the agent abstraction um, and tool execution approval. So, agent abstraction, what is this? So, backstory here. The AI SDK first shipped about um
