At Vercel Ship 2025 we introduced the AI Cloud, a new foundation that extends Vercel’s developer experience with enhanced connectivity, smarter compute, and built-in security for AI-native apps. Highlights include the AI Gateway for model orchestration, optimized Fluid Compute for dynamic workloads, and new primitives like Vercel Sandbox and Queues. The shift from Frontend Cloud to AI Cloud represents more than new features. It's the next evolution toward software that thinks, plans, and adapts. Fast, flexible, and secure by default. 00:00 – Intro, with Guillermo Rauch 09:09 – The AI Cloud 10:52 – Be flexible, with Lee Robinson 13:32 – AI Gateway 15:31 – Active CPU pricing 16:56 – Vercel Sandbox 20:24 – Stay fast, with Tom Occhino 27:07 – Rolling releases 28:37 – Microfrontends 30:37– Stay secure, Aparna Sinha 38:56 – BotID 42:11 – Vercel Agent https://vercel.com/ship

please welcome to the stage Vercel CEO Guillermo Rauch [Music and clapping] hello New York City have we all melted already I mean it's like 900° out there for those of you watching at home we're cooking welcome to Vercel Ship 2025 for the last 10 years we've been focused
on building the Frontend Cloud we wanted a world where you didn't have to spend months weeks orchestrating 14 different services to build a B2B SaaS a world where you can just ship things because to us shipping is what it's all about right I just want to ship products we all just want to ship
products and it turns out a lot of people want to ship products companies like DoorDash Peloton Notion have transformed their workflows and built teams that can just ship the products their users want to see the Frontend Cloud was designed to help teams fundamentally change how they build and ship apps it's three ways of building that I recommend to everybody that I talk to
be flexible build with the tools you want and change them out when you need to move fast who doesn't like fast spend time shipping experiments and features instead of configuring CDNs god forbid and stay secure your apps should be secure by default without a bolted on firewall this has become the standard for web development today Vercel serves over 32 million active domains
140 billion weekly requests and now we've crossed a trillion invocations on Fluid alone a trillion but if you look around the stuff that we're talking about these days like realistically we're talking about in boardrooms on the X platform the everything app it's becoming very clear the bar
