JSWORLD Conference
Interviewed: Guillermo Rauch
okay hello is that working okay wow okay yeah it's so exciting to see so many of you here and yeah I can like really Express what I'm feeling is my first like important talk so yeah hope you enjoy so uh today my talk is developer experience
with Knox so at first let me introduce myself a bit so my name is Anthony Foo and I'm a coding member of view vid and Knox I'm also a creator of view use v test Uno says slidiff and elk and we're currently working at Knox lab on the framework team you can find me on my website ntfu.me or on my GitHub and tfu so let's talk a bit about developer experience so recent years you have you must be happy here uh you must be heard this world like more and more orphans
and Frameworks have put a lot of effort to improving the device developer experience in order to have a have your workflows more efficient and more productive and this is a kind a big concept and that divides into multiple parts and see how we we um what we did to actually improve that so the first one I'm going to pick is the responsiveness so in Acts 3 with sorry
yep so in next three we switch our default bundle to beat a tool that's well known for its client-sized how module Replacements or so-called HMR and it provides you to modify from your changes from your code to your apps in nearly no time and then we introduce Knox uh then we introduce with node the same engine that powered the test for service I render HMR
and then we have I now introduced the Nitrome alongside with nux3 regarding of how many awesome features like nitrogen has it also provides the back-end apis reloads it's remember the time when you have expressed a app that you need to restart your no servers every time you make the changes this is no longer a case with Nitro so combining of all these tools we are able to make uh your apps uh responsiveness for any changes to make
no longer it no matter is client size or server side renders or back-end apis so then we also introduced some common practice in in Act 3. so we have a building support for typescript and esm thanks to which and then next also make it easy to have single single page application servers I render status Generations or even hybrid and routes and all of them are built on top of your
ISO modified code base without any explicit config so we also introduced layout system plugins route middlewares and to make your creation to make your app Creations more more productive and save your time to help you bet your code to be to be better organized okay and then we also introduced some common uh composition builderities like use States use async data or ESO utilities like uh use head or use ESO
meetups and all of them help you to maintain the stage from your server side to the client side with without without much effort and then uh not to speak we have the uh one of the best back-end Integrations powered by nitrons so you can deploy your Linux apps to resell net device and cloudflareers or any hosting service with zero config
