Hello everyone. Welcome to another Vercel community live session. [gasps] Uh today's session is all about AI code reviews. We're going to be joined by someone from Code Rabbit. Uh but first I want to just uh introduce myself. I'm Amy Egan. You've seen me around here probably uh if you've watched other live streams. I work on the VCEL community team. Uh just a reminder, we are streaming on X and YouTube, but if you want to join the main conversation, go
to the community site for Versail and uh find the event, click going. That'll be on community.cell.com/events. Um we'll have time for questions and answers at the end. So feel free to drop questions into the chat as we go and I'll make sure that we ask those at the end. Um, and if you're going to hang out in the chat, just please remember to be respectful, be nice to each other, follow our code of conduct. With that out of the way, I would like to welcome Santosh to the stage.
>> Hey. Hey. Hey. Hey everyone. >> I know you have a lot to show, so I will get out of your way and let you get to it. >> Oh, thank you. >> So, okay. Can uh Hey everyone. So, I'm happy to be here. I live in Hamburg, Germany
and I joined Code Rabbit and I work as a open source developer advocate for code rabbit and apart from that I'm a Google developer expert for Angular. I'm a GitHub star and I just got confirmation that I'm GitHub star for another year. So I'll be there for one more year to hang out with all the cool people from GitHub and uh I'm also a Microsoft MVP and part of another program called NX Champion where I mostly contribute around monor repo space. So in case
you're interested in any of this, reach out to me on X or LinkedIn or we just call it Twitter. It's easy. And uh also I'm on blue sky. So it's my handle is shad. Or you can just go to my website santo.dev and you can find everything about me. So here uh today I am going to walk you through like how code rabbit helps with code review bottleneck. And to prepare for this talk, I have few
uh I decided to actually go into little bit of history right because you know when I was thinking about like what should I share which should be a very informative for others. So I thought like why not to share something where like people like how CI/CD evolved over the years or over the decades I would say and same for code review and then I can show you like how yeah code rabbit helps right so let's go ahead and get started I'll say and u so just to give
you a little bit of information about code rabbit of course there are so many companies who are using code rabbit and it's open source it's free for sorry it's not open source but it's free for open source. So these are some companies which is which are listed here. We have more than more than 500,000 uh users. We have reviewed more than 13 million 13 million pull requests. Yeah, it's a big number believe me and uh we have more
two installs on more than 2 million repositories and we are also one of the most installed app on GitHub and GitLab. So we recently crossed I think 150k installs on GitHub which is very good very big number I would say and in case you want to go go ahead and give it a try just go ahead and install uh kab I mean I'll show you at the in video as well. So let's talk about CI/CD right I think most of us at one point of time
