Protecting your traffic with the Vercel Firewall

Welcome everyone. Thanks so much for your time today. I'm Paula. I'm a product manager for our CDN product area which spans the Versell Edge network and firewall. Today I'm also joined by two of my amazing colleagues on our sales engineering team, Thomas and Jared. This doesn't

need to be too formal though. You can always ask any questions in the chat. But before we begin our presentation, I just wanted to get a sense of where the audience is at in terms of their experience uh and posture with respect to network security. So I've got a short poll for everyone. We'll just start that right now. We'll give everyone a maybe a few minutes to answer this.

assume now you can see it but I'll still continue to read it in case you can't. Um are you familiar with firewall administration? Interestingly we've got about 50/50 split in the audience. Um unfortunately 50% of you have had the the joy of of firewall administration. Um, and for the other half of you, this is a relatively kind of new topic. So that's useful to know for me just to kind of gauge people's familiarity with the subject. Um, and so one of the things actually that's interesting also for us to see is what W is your

organization using. I think this is just useful also to see kind of what your familiarity is from a feature set. Um, oh actually I'll pause there. I know we've got a question about previous webinars. I think if the marketing team wants to quickly answer that, um, Michelle, but I believe all the previous webinars, um, there should be a way to get the recording for some of those. at the poll, we've got a mix here. Quite a few people are using Versel actually as their WTF. Um and then there's a handful of people using some of the more kind of I would say popular uh solutions like Cloudflare, CloudFront and Alchemy.
